Created in the French Calvados method, J.J. Pfister’s Eau de Vie of Pear is a California take on a classic French spirit.
The Eau de Vie of Pear nose reveals the soft tones of delicious ripe Asian, Bartlet, and Anjou pear fruit coming together to deliver thoughtful notes of orchard sweetness, brambles, and pear skin. The Eau De Vie of Pear palate is incredibly fresh and smooth with a perfect balance of the ripe pear flavors. With a slight spice and a lingering sweetness, this special spirit carries through with a clean and dry, warm and smooth finish.
With pears sourced from Greene and Hemley Orchards in Cortland, California, the pear capital of the world, we process the fruit at the peak of ripeness for full flavor and quality. Our pome fruit processing equipment creates a fine mash which is fermented for at least three weeks to ensure the most complex flavor profile possible. After distilling with our state of the art pot still and proofing to the most flavorful alcohol content, our Eau de Vie of Pear is ready to enjoy neat or in a cocktail of your choice. Each bottle is 350 mL.
- 1.5 oz Eau De Vie (Pear Brandy)
- 2 oz Lemon Syrup
- 2 oz Simple Syrup
- Pear Cider
- Mix ingredients in shaker with ice
- Shake and dirty dump in mason jar with ice
- Top with splash of pear cider
- Garnish with pear slice and flower
- 2 oz Eau De Vie (Pear Brandy)
- 1 oz Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Simple
- .5 oz Elderflower Liqueur
- Pear slice
- Mix all ingredients in shaker with ice
- Shake well and strain into coupe glass
- Garnish with pear slice
