From specially selected distilled spirits from Indiana, J.J. Pfister has artfully blended a superb Rye Whiskey.

Rye Whiskey is a classic spirit with an aroma of allspice, caramel, banana toast, and hint of ginger. On the palate, it is exceptionally smooth – with notes of banana bread, caramel, and dark chocolate-covered cherry – leading to a classic Rye finish of holiday spices and black pepper.

Bottled at the preferred 100 proof, Rye Whiskey is a very versatile spirit – simply enjoy neat, on the rocks, or as a base for your favorite craft cocktail to add depth and flavor.

Bitter Clay

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz J.J. Pfister Rye Whiskey
  • 3 dashes Orange Angostura Bitters
  • Brandied Cherry
  • Soda Water

Instructions

  • Build in a Collins glass
  • Top with soda water
  • Garnish with a brandied cherry

Pickleback

Ingredients

  • 2 oz J.J. Pfister Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Whiskey Pickle Brine
  • 1 oz Simple Syrup
  • Buffalo Sauce Salt
  • Pickles

Instructions

  • Add ingredients to shaker with ice
  • Add Buffalo Sauce Salt to rim of rocks glass
  • Shake and double strain into rocks glass over a big cube
  • Garnish with pickles on a toothpick in a shot glass

Rye Manhattan

Ingredients

  • 2 oz J.J. Pfister Rye Whiskey
  • .75 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 3 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Brandied Cherries

Instructions

  • Mix rye whiskey and sweet vermouth
  • Add bitters
  • Stir gently and serve in a coupe glass with brandied cherries

Scofflaw

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Rye Whiskey
  • 1 oz Dry Vermouth
  • .75 oz Lemon Juice
  • .75 oz Grenadine
  • 2 dashes of orange bitters
  • Lemon

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to shaker with ice
  • Shake
  • Pour into glass over one big ice cube
  • Add touch of lemon expression
